The majority of my internship is over! I have about 75 hours left (out of 400) and a couple of weeks to do it in. The Cube Cyclocross finished on Saturday and December 5th is my last real event of the season.
The Cube was cold if anything mostly due to the wind. Three Saturdays of being outside for about 6 hours. David was a great sport and supported me the two weeks that he could. He ended up being a great help because all three weeks we had no volunteers show up! We ended up having to pay people from other departments to come. The racers were really nice and it was a small race but cyclocross racers I decided are hard core. They are up for any challenge and excited to ride no matter the conditions.
