Leslie's Blessing

We blessed Leslie Claire Wilson on April 11, 2010. Yes she was over 3 months but we decided to cram everything into one weekend for easier travel for those coming far away. I decided my family likes to cram a lot of big events into short periods of time( My wedding, picking Jason up from his mission, Family reunion and receptions).

David and I were married in the Rexburg temple and I thought it would be neat to have a picture of Leslie with us since we know that Families are Forever because of this beautiful temple. We tried to get this picture right after church but my skirt was flying up so we waited till the wind calmed down.

This is the Allred Clan. My grandparents came up from Utah with my Dad, Jason( brother), his fiance Lochsley and my sister Lauren has been up here going to school this semester.

This Leslie in her blessing dress that my mom made for me. I wanted to see what condition my blessing dress was in but we couldn't find any of them which disappointed my mother. She said that she would make one for Leslie to make up for it. We think she did a good job. Thanks Mom!

Daddy-Daughter picture.

A four generation shot! I have never been in one of those before! :)

The Wilson family! We didn't get a whole Wilson shot because it would have been super hard to get all those little kids together for a picture plus I don''t think we could have found a spot inside that would fit all those people.

Leslie again. We took most of her individual shots right after we got her dressed. We waited an hour after we fed her and bathed her. If you have met Leslie you know that she is super spitty and we didn't want her to mess up her beautiful dress.

Since we are in a college ward we don't have a primary we have 3 kids in the nursery and lots of babies. We warned our ward that there would be about 15 extra kids that Sunday and they stepped up to the challenge. They created a whole primary for the kids that day. They called people to teach and created a whole primary program for the kids. As one of the kids mentioned it was a really neat experience because it was a whole primary of just her cousins!

Thanks everyone for stopping by for the blessing. We really appreciated it.

If you go to church in Montana up in Cooke, you are sure to have a primary of siblings, cousins, and 2nd cousins. I remember that a lot from my childhood! :)

Leslie is a beautiful baby. And that dress is awesome. Your mom did a great job. Sorry we couldn't make it, but I hope you understand. :) Wish we could have though. We are glad it turned out well for you. Love you all.
