A New Year

Well we are back in Rexburg and started the new year!

As we said earlier we went to Texas to spend the break at all the  amazing Allreds. We had a lot of big family plans but everyone but Kimberly ended up getting sick. Most of the two weeks was spent trying to get Kimberly's projects done. She wanted to finish some events from high school for her scrapbook and finish another T-shirt quilt. We also made marshmallow fondant which was a lot of fun to play with.

We were also shown our unfinished present from the Towels! It was so pretty!

Christmas was fun, the night before we had the Johnsons over for the pageant. We were voted to be Mary and Joesph but Kimberly ended up being the donkey to give the role to the youngest girl. Christmas morning we actually  were able to stay in bed till 8:00. We opened presents and started watching the new movies and playing with the new Wii. We both have to agree it was pretty entertaining and maybe one day when we have money we will buy one.

For New Years we decided to have a party for the Young Adults at the Allreds. It was a good chance to catch up with old friends and not sit around on New Years. We flew out the next day to drop off Jason at Provo. Apparently the office closed 45 minutes before we got there so he stayed the night with us at Kimberly's Uncle's house. After getting Jason situated  we went to the Mount Timpanagous Temple to do a session and then to Kimberly's old roommates wedding reception in American Fork.

We then went to Rupert to see our amazing parents. They helped us to collect some of the last pictures for the family calendar.(Which we are almost done with so send us pictures if you hadn't!) Then we went to go and see our new beautiful niece Kessa Lin Wilson.

That night we headed back for our first days of school.  The night before school we were I-Night volunteers. We ran the bungee fun for a few hours , it was a great work out for us both. We both started new jobs. David works for the scroll in Advertising and Kimberly works in the bookstore as a cashier. We both have nights open together finally! We have a lot of plans for this semester with all of our classes so be ready for some fun stories!

This is what our stairs looked like when we came back covered in ice and snow. Somehow over the break the railing broke too! So until we had time to shovel it it was an adventure going in and out with our luggage.
